Comfort and wellbeing at Cool Dreams: climate and air, rest and acoustics, light, technology and restoration. The systems integrated into the palazzo in Ortigia.

    Feel at ease, in every season.

    Temperature and humidity are regulated automatically. Controlled mechanical ventilation renews and filters the air. The systems are integrated into the building to provide year-round comfort.

    Find your way to a good night’s rest.

    Bed bases, mattresses, toppers and pillows are by Simmons. The pillow menu lets you choose what suits you best. Careful acoustic insulation adds to the attention devoted to your rest.

    There is room for shadow, too.

    By day, light shifts across the vaults and stone. In the evening, LED lighting brings out pathways and artworks; beside beds and seating, lamps provide light for reading and relaxing.

  • The comforts you need, close at hand.

    Your room includes Wi-Fi, Hospitality TV and Alexa Hospitality. Building automation manages lighting, access and room functions. At the entrance, the fast check-in station complements the personal welcome from our team and enables automated arrivals overnight.

    The restored entrance door, the preserved walls and vaults, the recovered frescoes: much of what makes a stay special was here already. The building’s restoration is complemented by LED lighting and automated systems, with attention to energy use.
